• Public Comment Opportunity

  Public comments are invited until October 15th regarding the Fair Housing Activity Statement for the Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery.  Please see this NOTICE for details.

• 2011 - 2012 Fiscal Year Budget Passed

  City Council adopted the final 2011 - 2012 budget at the regular Council meeting on September 13, 2011.  A copy can be seen HERE.

• Senior Citizen Garbage Rate

  If you have reached the young age of 65, let us know!  You may be eligible for a reduced garbage rate. 

• New Noise Ordinance in effect for the City of Palacios

  City Council adopted a new ordinance prohibiting unreasonable or excessive noise within the City limits.  Please contact the Palacios Police Department at 361-972-3112 if you notice someone violating this new ordinance.  A copy of the ordinance can be obtained from the City Secretary's office by completing an open records request.  Click HERE to view the ordinance online.
